Chichester university footballers celebrate championship

The University of Chichester football club's third team enjoyed a very successful year '“ beating all the teams in their league to seal a wonderful title with two games to spare.

The title was sealed with a marvellous, convincing 3-0 win over a strong Portsmouth side – away from home.

The Chichester team were led by George Morris and with some outstanding performances from the likes of David Narowynsky and Rory Wood and Luke Fenlon in midfield, they played Portsmouth off the park.

Chichester will hoping to keep their brilliant run of form going.

Congratulations go to all in the team, with a special mention for team manager Thomas Rickman and his assistants Luke Vine and Matt Moore, who have guided them brilliantly.
