The 25-year-old joined from Deportivo for an undisclosed fee but is yet to make his debut owing to a groin injury.

Andone was on the bench for the 2-1 defeat to Tottenham last weekend and could make his Seagulls debut in tomorrow's match at Manchester City.

Hughton says a decision will be made on whether Andone gets a run out tomorrow: "He's fit. It's been a difficult time for Florin. He came with an injury, which we knew about and it delayed his pre-season.

"He picked up a very slight injury in pre-season, which dragged on a little bit. He hasn't had too many games under his belt but has played an under-23 game a couple of weeks ago. He's available and it's just a decision we have, with the competition we have, when he plays a part."

Asked if he's excited to see Andone in action, Hughton said: "Yes. We've been waiting a while and it's been a little bit frustrating but if anything it's more frustrating for him.

"He's a player who came in during the summer and he's a player who's not used to being injured. He hasn't missed many games and the good thing is the injury he had was very minor."We look forward to having as many fit players as possible."
