Football: Lavant are back in action - with an open invite

Lavant are about to kick off their pre-season schedule in preparation for the new campaign starting on September 1.

Lavant have Saturday sides in the West Sussex League’s premier division and division three south plus a Sunday side playing in division one of the Chichester & West Sussex Sunday League.

They are looking to strengthen all three sides.

The philosophy of the club is that the process of selection for all teams starts at pre-season.

They welcome back current players and invite new ones to join in and compete for a place.

Pre-season training will be held every Tuesday and Thursday, starting tomorrow (July 10), initially on the village green, starting at 6.30pm.

Anyone attending must take boots/trainers, running shoes and plenty of water and fluids.
