Lions and City win again... Bosham still flying
Pagham remain in the top three of the Southern Combination premier after a 3-0 win at Crawley Down Gatwick.
Scott Murfin struck on ten minutes and Kieron Pamment doubled the lead just before half-time. Dale Hayes made sure of the three points four minutes from time.
Chichester City are also going well in the league - they beat Horsham YMCA 2-1 at Oaklands to remain sixth.
Josh Clack and Josh Case put City two up before Tom Gilbert made them sweat by pulling it back to 2-1.
Selsey bowed out of the Sussex Senior Cup with a 5-0 defeat at Little Common, where all the goals came in the first 46 minutes.
In division one of the SCFL, Scott Dormer’s goal couldn’t save Midhurst at Mile Oak, where the hosts won 2-1.
Bosham remain clear at the top of division two. Jake Lafferty, Marco Giambelardini (2) and Bradley Miles scored in a 4-0 win at Rustington.
Sidlesham drew 2-2 at home to Worthing Town Leisure, Tom Bayley and John Phillips the scorers.
Bognor were without a Ryman premier game today. They are fifth in the table and return to action next Saturday at Dulwich Hamlet.
In local rugby, Chichester chalked up their second home win of the season in National three London south east with a 15-13 triumph over Sutton and Epsom, while Bognor were unlucky to lose 23-22 at home to Weybridge Vandals in London three south west.
