Lions roar to victory - but Midhurst's woes continue

Carl Stabler's Pagham made a winning start to 2011 with a 3-2 triumph at Shoreham.

The victory keeps the Lions in third place and they’re just three points behind leaders Crawley Down although they have played more games than other sides at the top.

In division two, Midhurst’s miserable festive season was completed with a 4-3 loss at home to Storrington. It followed their 8-1 hammering at Lancing last Thursday.

There were goals aplenty in division three. Barnham nicked a point from a 3-3 draw at high-flying Bosham, while Sidlesham went down 5-3 at home to Ferring.

There’s division-one action at Selsey on Tuesday evening - they host fourth-placed Chichester.
