Mullets pocketed £1,925 prize money for the win at their fellow Southern Combination League Premier Division opponents and will now entertain Evostik Southern League Division 1 Central Egham in the next round on September 3.
Arundel progressed with first half goals from Dave Herbert and Barney Boutwood.

Boutwood made it 2-0 on 38 minutes when he chested down Herbert’s free kick and fired into the roof of the net.
Mullets saw penalty appeals waved away early in the second half when Herbert went down, before Arundel keeper James Fernandes made an outstanding save from a close-range header.
Herbert then hit the bar and Dion Jarvis shot over when through as Mullets held on to progress.

Hide AdArundel joint manager Craig Stuart said: “We played well and it’s a massive win for the club – I can’t stress how important the prize money is.
“We’ve got Egham at home in the next round now and you never know what can happen in a one-off cup game.
“We were the better side in the first half on Saturday but came under pressure in the second half. James made one world-class save and we cleared a shot off the line but we had more chances of our own too.”
ARUNDEL: Fernandes; N.Da Costa, Jenkins, Peake, Hunter; Nicholson, R.Biggs, A.Biggs, Jarvis; Herbert, Boutwood. Subs: Jones (R.Biggs 62), Russell (Herbert 74), Tipper (Boutwood 90), L.Da Costa, Dudas.
