Pompey football courses are a big hit with kids
MORE than 100 children enjoyed three days of football fun during holidays at courses run by Pompey Sports & Education Foundation at Chichester College.
A similar number took part in similar courses at The Arena in Bognor, which culminated with a Euro 2012 day. Each team represented a different European country in a mini tournament which produced a winner in two age groups.
Community Coach Richie Boxall said “The kids really enjoyed the Euro 2012 theme and are looking forward to the European Championships in the summer. We hope we will see many of these kids again at our football courses here in the June half-term.”
