Pompey were forced to settle for a second successive pre-season 1-1 draw after being pegged back by Bognor at Nyewood Lane.
The Blues, who shared the spoils in their summer opener at the Hawks last weekend, were unable to take advantage of Matt Tubbs’ early opener as they were pegged back after the break by an Alfie Rutherford strike.
The visitors were dismayed that the goal was allowed to stand, though, after appealing in unison for an offside flag that was not forthcoming.
Rutherford, however, kept his cool to shrug off the challenge of Blues skipper Paul Robinson before firing over the onrushing Paul Jones.
Tubbs had earlier opened the scoring following a free-flowing Pompey move that began with an incisive through ball from Michael Doyle for Enda Stevens before the left-back put the ball on a plate for an easy tap-in.
There were chances aplenty for either side, although the Blues will feel they should have put the game beyond their Ryman League neighbours.
