Pompey issue plea to 2010 creditors

POMPEY has issued an urgent plea to creditors in an attempt to lobby the Football League over its decision to dock the club ten points.

In a statement, the club wants creditors of Portsmouth City Football Club Ltd, the club’s operating company that entered administration in February 2010, to get in touch.

The club said: ‘The club need all such creditors to contact us with names, addresses and e-mail addresses immediately as a matter of great importance.

‘Time is of the essence as the fight goes on to save this great football club with 114 years of glorious history behind it.

‘2010 creditors are vital to the process.

‘We need all these details so that we can contact all 2010 creditors, inviting you to decide whether you are in favour of or opposed to the latest CVA proposal approved in June 2012 in order that we can lobby the Football League with withdraw the ten point deduction.’

The news understands that the club has been in touch with Baker Tilley, the liquidator, to get postal addresses of creditors.

Ideally the club wants people to come forward with their email addresses so they can be contacted quickly.
