was a goal.

Bosham were forced into changes but still looked strong as they looked to build on a fine home win over Montpelier Villa.

A strong breeze was blowing right across the pitch making long balls testing and clearances from the area tricky.

The first effort of note came from Rottingdean’s Mike Demario, who let fly from outside the box – but Kieran Magee tipped it on to his post before Matt Docherty completed the clearance.

Right on the half-time whistle, Bosham’s Alex Barnes had a wonderful chance against the run of play to open the scoring. Breaking in from the right, he bamboozled defenders in the box before firing goalwards only for defender’s legs to divert the ball wide.

In the second half Demario brought the best out of Magee. Dimario saw an opportunity to strike and his effort was pushed on to the bar by the Robins’ stopper.

Mark Desi was finding things tough up front for Bosham with little service coming his way.

Chris Honeysett, drafted in from the reserves, looked sharp and was tough in the tackle.

Ross Smith was his usual self for Rottingdean, trying his best to marshal attacks for the red and blacks, but the quality in the final third was lacking, as it was for Bosham – thus a stalemate was always on the cards.

The draw left the two teams still level in the table and frustrated at not securing the win.

BOSHAM: Magee, Docherty, Wilson, Barnes, Giambelardini, Bell, Blanshard, Stevens, Bulbeck, Honeysett, Desi.
