Sultan swings the momentum to Broadbridge Heath at Bosham

Two second-half goals from Broadbridge striker Jamal Sultan saw the Blues to an emphatic 4-0 win at Bosham in division three of the Sussex League.

It heaped more pressure on Reds manager Tony Hancock and his team.

The visitors got their noses in front when no-one picked up a late run into the area by Martyn Flack, who nodded in a Rob Godfrey corner.

Marco Giambelardini and Kieran Hartley went close for Bosham.

The Blues’ belief turned to joy just before the break when Alex Bowell doubled the lead from a free-kick.

After the break, Sultan took advantage of a static defence to burst through and fire home.

Joe Redman, Neil Redman and Chris Colwell came on for late appearances for the Reds to no avail.

Late on, Sultan was at it again to round off the scoring, benefiting from lovely skills from Miles Hamilton, who left defenders dazzled before setting up Sultan for a smooth finish.

Bosham hope for better from a visit to Ifield this week.
