Tigers earn their stripes at Felpham football tournament

In a mixed age group of under-15 and 16 girls’ teams, The Tigers topped their league in the group stages, without losing a game.

In the semi-final, they saw off Rustington, who had finished runners-up in the under-16 division of the Sussex Women’s and Girls’ League, with a well-taken goal by Abbie Flower.

The Tigers faced Patcham Utd in a thrilling final, Predators Tigers Girl finally losing by a solitary goal, their first conceded all tournament.

It was a superb team performance against a team who finished third and won the Challenge Cup in the U16 SCWGFL.
