Trojans battle to an unbeaten 2011
BARNHAM Trojans under-eights blue team are celebrating after going a whole year unbeaten.
The team have not lost a game in the whole of 2011, having played 30 friendly games against teams in their own age group from areas across Worthing to Portsmouth.
The highlight for the team was playing against Pompey FC’s pre-academy, in which Barnham outplayed their opponents for long periods of the game but unfortunately ended up drawing 5-5.
With also the promise of a friendly against Fulham FC’s academy followed by a tour of their academy ground next year, it promises to be another exciting 12 months for the Barnham team.
