It came after a tough start to their SCFL campaign and assistant Manager Lee Maguire said: “We won a bit ugly, that’s something we need to learn to do.
“The important thing was for us to get a win – we’ve got something to build on now.”

Hide AdIt was a confidence-boosting win on a damp Tuesday night at Selsey’s Bunn Leisure Stadium.
Selsey, mid table in Division 1 of the Southern Counties Combination – the league below YM – proved to be worthy opponents, only finally succumbing late in the game.
YM had the early possession, with Leon Eales’ shot deflected off an upright, before YM keeper Aaron Jeal was forced to make a diving save.
YM pressure paid off, when Selsey’s young keeper Syd Davies saved only to see Charlie Maguire bang in the rebound.

However, just when YM might have been thinking that they could relax, Selsey immediately reduced the deficit, with Ryan Chittock having space to head home.
YM’s Mitch Clark and Selsey’s Max Davies were sent off and Selsey were pressing for an equaliser.
