The first semi-final saw Ashley Clements (POW ‘B’) and Peter Hall (Chi Snooker Club) go out to Lee Franklin (Squash Club) and Nick Hales (The Monters).

The second semi-final saw Andy Stubbs (Hunston Club) and Alex Richardson (Friary Arms) prevail against Ian Hackett (Chi Snooker Club) and Andy Whiteley (Claremont ‘A’).

The final’s first leg saw Franklin start with 121 and Hales finish it off. The second leg swung both ways before Stubbs hit his double and took the second leg.

Franklin started the last leg with 95, and Hales followed with 100 and 140. As the leg wore on, both pairs missed chances to wrap it up but eventually Franklin stepped up and needed only one dart to hit double one, taking the Star Darts blind pairs champions title 2016.

C&M Trophies of Littlehampton supplied all the trophies.
