Players and coaches of all ages came out in force to celebrate the 160th anniversary of Chichester Priory Park Cricket Club.

The club have come a long way since they were formed in 1851, providing a friendly club atmosphere for people of all ages to enjoy the game cricket in the heart of the city.

The picturesque and historic setting at Priory Park has changed very little over the years, providing players from years gone by to the present day a stunning venue to play and enjoy the game.

The location of the park allows members of the public to support their local side and enjoy the cricket on offer.

The ever-growing youth section at the club has reinforced the family atmosphere Priory Park has nurtured from the beginning.

With the senior members increasing over the years, the club, whose first team are in the Sussex Premier League, can continue to sustain a solid base to provide cricket of all standards to Chichester and the surrounding areas.

The club have been generously sponsored this year by The Ship Hotel, Wannop Fox Staffurth and Bray Solicitors, Hamptons International Estate Agents and Cranes Chartered Surveyors.
