Hockey: Chichester ladies back in action - with an invite

Chichester Priory Park Hockey Club’s ladies’ section are looking forward to the new season.

It starts for them this Saturday with a coaching and trials day from 1.30pm to 4.30pm at the Chichester College Astroturf pitch off the Cathedral Way roundabout.

Afterwards there will be teas and a welcome to all players, new and old, at The Rainbow pub, St Paul’s Road, Chichester.

The section would be pleased to welcome new players of any ability to the club. They have four ladies teams who play in the Sussex Ladies’ Leagues from the premier division to the third division and a team for girls up to the age of 16 who play in the Sussex Girls’ Development League.

They hold weekly evening coaching sessions run by qualified hockey coaches and have a friendly and lively clubhouse with regular social occasions in Priory Park.
