Howzat for starters - Priory Park youngsters win their first game

Held at the Six Villages Centre in Westergate, the match between CPP and Littlehampton was expected to be a close-fought contest.

With normal cricket scoring rules slightly altered, and scoring dependent on which wall the ball hit and whether the batsmen ran between the stumps, Chichester managed to put on a good score of 94 off the maximum of 12 overs allowed.

Despite Littlehampton producing some good individual performances, they managed to score only 83 runs, giving Chichester their first taste of indoor victory.

The victorious team, which is managed by Steve Peyman, comprised Matthew Lee, Henry Condron, Joshua Lamb, Alex Pendle, Felix Talbot and Callum Peyman.
