Littlehampton travelled to Worthing for their second Sussex Super League game of the season. Worthing have been league champions for the past three seasons but had an early shock when the Observer-area players took a 2-0 lead.
Terry Howse opened the scoring in a high-scoring match that saw 22 100-plus scores and a maximum helped him take a 3-2 victory. Bognor’s Mick Rowland added a 3-1 victory. Worthing levelled but at 2-2 Littlehampton retook the lead.
Bognor’s Cliff Prior taking his match 3-2 but Worthing levelled again when James Greenfield took victory over Chichester’s Adi Lindfield.
The match swung in Worthing’s favour when Littlehampton’s James Stephenson hit two 180s but failed to win the match after four darts at the winning double.
Worthing went on and took the match 6-3.
Littlehampton Locals lost 5-4 to Roffey.
Bognor Friday Night League
The league came to a conclusion but there are a handful of matches to be played in catch-up week, with many titles to be resolved.
The Ship have taken division one and the singles and trebles titles. The Wheatsheaf took the league runners-up title as well as singles runners-up and pairs winners. The Royal Oak won the pairs and were trebles runners-up.
In division two, BRSA A look favourites to lift the league title and are confirmed as pairs winners.
Division three sees Chichester Snooker Club A head into catch-up week against third-placed Claremont Cobras, with the Snooker Club leading in all three titles.

Once again many of the top darts players from around the globe travelled to the Bunn Leisure Holiday Park in Selsey for the venue’s second BDO-ranked competition this year.
