West Wittering is the venue this Saturday (June 15) for Chichester RFC’s annual beach rugby tournament.
It’s in aid of rugby players’ charity Wooden Spoon and St Wilfrid’s Hospice.
There will be 32 teams taking part from across a 100-mile area, making it the second largest beach rugby tournament on the south coast.
The event is now in its sixth year and those taking part range from rugby die-hards to community groups. St Wilfrid’s are putting a team in this year.
Organisers are appealing for people to come along and support the teams on what should be a fantastic day.
After the tournament, the players will relax with a barbecue.
O’Hagan Sausages and the West Wittering Estate have been thanked for helping ensure the event can go ahead.
