The Knights started strongly with strong defence, opening up good scoring opportunities for Kev Wilson and Raf Cuesta. Knights led by eight points at the end of the first quarter.

Southampton came out strongly in the second quarter, breaking down the Knights defence and holding the home team to just four points. Knights trailed by eight at half-time.

The Knights regrouped and started the second half with improved focus and team work. Dave Turner and Connor Ferry helped claw back the decifit with strong offensive play.
