Goodwood Friday tips - there's one horse who looks unbeatable

English King may have failed to live up to his billing as favourite when beaten by Mogul in the Gordon Stakes, but there's one short-priced market leader that looks unbeatable today.

The super sprinter takes centre stage on day four and the betting suggests he is the banker of the week with no suggestion that anything will be able to lay a glove over him over the five-furlong dash.

Elsewhere, Khaloosy was a fine winner at Royal Ascot and appears to be a progressive horse that could be fun to follow and is well-fancied to win the 2:15 Thoroughbred Stakes.

MyRacing.com has run through the card on the third day and has picked out who it is worth keeping an eye on.

1.10 - Cepheus - Newmarket maiden winner who was pitched into the Guineas on just his second start when down the field. Caught the eye at Ascot and Kempton since and should have enough ability to land a handicap of this status off 89.

1.45 - One Master - Landed the Prix de la Foret at Longchamp in 2019 and had a great prep for this when fourth behind Nazeef in the Falmouth Stakes at Newmarket, doing best work at the finish. Class act in this race.

2.15 - Khaloosy - Wide-margin winner of an ultra-competitive Britannia Stakes when last seen, looking like a potential Group 1 horse. He can take this before moving onto high-class contests.

2.45 - Sir Busker - Two-time winner from three starts this season, the drop back to 7f the only reason he tasted defeat at Newmarket latest. Huge player back up to a mile and he is a course winner.

3.15 - Battaash - Unbelievable sprinter who looks close to unbeatable on this speed track and should have no problem winning this race for the fourth year in a row.

3.45 - Pablo Escobarr - Won an All-Weather Listed event in December and caught the eye last time running a good race when 4th behind Global Giant at Newbury. Has a win and a 2nd from two starts at the track.

4.20 - Julie Johnston - Chelmsford novice winner before improving massively to get her second victory account on handicap debut at York last time. Massive claims under a penalty with De Sousa booked for the ride.

4.55 - Enoughisgoodenough - Expensive €440,000 Dark Angel filly who makes plenty of paper appeal and the Hannon juveniles are flying at present so she should be forward enough at the first time of asking.
