With crowds still barred from the racecourse it was left to the horses to be the sole focus of the photographers - and big race for fillies, the Group 1 Qatar Nassau Stakes, was the day's highlight.
That was won by Fancy Blue, ridden by Ryan Moore, among a host of well-contested races.
Moore rode a double and his trainer dad had a 50/1 winner for good measure.
