The Racegoers Club awards are always eagerly anticipated by racecourses as the club is the UK’s biggest and is supported by discount admission at all British tracks.

With more than 4,500 members visiting tracks on an average 31 times a year, the club is considered to be the voice of regular racegoers across the country.

Having received the award for 20 years running until 2009, Fontwell Park general manager Tracy Skinner is delighted to see the award return in her inaugural year at the course.

She said: “What a great boost for the extremely hard-working team here at Fontwell Park.

“We are delighted to have been given this award by the most regular visitors to racecourses in Britain and we are working hard to continually improve the facilities and customer experience at Fontwell Park.

“The new grandstand has proved to be a fantastic facility for our 24 racedays every year as well as providing a superb conference and event venue all year round, and we are looking forward to a bright year developing the track even further.”

The first meeting at Fontwell Park in 2013 is the January Sale raceday on Sunday, January 27.
