Rebels 'professional'

DANNY BLOOR declared himself happy with a solid FA Cup performance after his men saw off unfancied visitors Colliers Wood with three second-half goals at Woodside on Saturday.

After previous defensive troubles this term, boss Bloor was at pains to highlight the efforts of Ben Andrews and his defensive cohorts Andy Lutwyche and Ricardo Joseph. They certainly did their job professionally enough, although at times confronted with only Ben Lane in an advanced position for Colliers Wood.

For Bloor the result was the key. He said: "There will be shocks today just as there are shocks in the third round proper. It was important for the players to be professional and I thought the second-half performance was excellent."
