Rosettes for girls' school

The team, consisting of year 10 and 11 pupils Louisa Sutton, Anna George, Rosie Henderson and Kelly Smith, took part in an Inter-School competition at Golden Cross near Hailsham.

The best three scores from the team of four counted. After four determined but carefully ridden rounds, the team finished on a total score of four faults. They then had to wait with baited breath for all the other teams to ride.

With only a few teams managing completely clear team scores, the girls were pleased to be placed fifth and are looking forward to their next outing for what is becoming an increasingly popular and well supported activity in the school's sporting calendar.
