With the pressure of so many matches in the past few weeks and nine league games to come over the next three weeks or so, Rocks officials said it made sense to ensure they had players who could be called upon to fill gaps in the squad if necessary.

The deadline for registrations is March 31.

Joseph-Buadi, 18, has played once for Pompey’s first team – a game earlier this season at Exeter City in the JP Trophy.

Rocks manager Jamie Howell expressed his gratitude to Pompey and Mikey Harris, their development squad coach, for their continued support.
