Rugby: Chichester students get better of Sussex rivals

The top-of-the-table clash saw the ladies extend their lead at the top of the British Universities & Colleges Sport first tier.

Last week was also a successful one for the uni’s football club with the men’s seconds, thirds and women’s first teams all coming out on top in their respective cup matches against St Mary’s University.

A number of University of Chichester teams will be competing in the last 16 of their respective cups next week.

This weekend Bernie Spannagl and Annie Frederick are both representing the university at the BUCS Duathlon Championships at Castle Combe. Both athletes go into the event in great form after strong summers competing in numerous triathlons and ironman events.
