Worthing v Rocks: Midday pitch inspection planned

The pitch has bremained frozen today but the clubs have agreed to leave it as long as possible to give Monday’s much-anticipated match a chance of going ahead.

The Rocks have played only once in December, with four games having been lost to the weather.

The Sussex League programme also looks like being affected by the weather, but as of Sunday evening, Chichester v Arundel and Pagham v Selsey, both 11am kick-offs in division one, were still scheduled to be on.
