Saturday's County League football round-up

EAST PRESTON and Wick both progressed in the John O'Hara Cup on Saturday with home victories.

Wick defeated Lingfield 3-1 and will now travel to Ringmer in the second round. Scott Murfin, Gareth Green and Dominic Shepherd hit their goals.

EP will entertain Oakwood or Seaford in the third round after a 2-1 success over Lancing. James Rhodes and Seb Keet, with an 85th-minute winner, scored EP's goals.

In County League Division 1, Arundel won 2-1 at Eastbourne UA. Scott Tipper levelled United's 28th-minute goal on 42 minutes before an own goal, 10 minutes after the break, gave Mullets victory.

In Division 2, Littlehampton suffered their first defeat with a 3-2 loss at Steyning Town. Golds trailed 3-0 before goals from Gary Harrison and Jay Huet in the last three minutes.

Rustington recorded their third successive victory with a 3-0 win at Seaford. Sean Duffy, Andy Smart and Chris Couzens all netted in the second half.
