Sussex under 15s badminton team beat Surrey seconds
A match against any Surrey team is going to be tough and Surrey’s 2nd team were no exception.
Sussex got off to a good start winning 3 out of the 4 mixed doubles games. Sussex gained 3 more in boys singles giving a total of 6. The girls had a lot tougher time against the strong Surrey girls. There were some very close three setters and the girls managed to pick up 2 more games. Going into boys and girls level doubles Sussex were 8-3 up with 8 more games to play. We needed just 3 more games to clinch the match.
Final score a 12-8 victory to Sussex with a possible place in the playoffs on 4th April.
