In a format that enabled the losers to continue to play for the plate, every couple played at least two matches with those progressing to the finals playing more.

Many matches were extremely close, with the finals of the trophy between Charlie Scott and daughter Kirsty and Tom and Antonia Plant finishing 7-5 to the Scotts.

Michael Sheringham and Charlotte Evans played Jeremey Howard and Jill Holland for the plate, winning 6-4. The bottles of bubbly were opened as the prizes were presented by Nikki Webster, daughter of Richard and Ruth, who had presented the shield.

The club had five teams in the East Hants Summer League but only two in the winter league when without lights around the courts matches have to be played at weekends.
