VIDEO: Preparing the ground for Glorious Goodwood

He has been seen doing a rain dance or two but Seamus Buckley, Goodwood’s clerk of the course, is content with how the track is shaping up before the festival begins.

Buckley and his groundstaff have been watering frequently to help make up for the lack of rain, although showers are still possible before racing gets under way.

We joined Buckley for a look at the course and at some of the machinery that’s been keeping moisture in the ground.
