This year will see seven Flyers able to jump at world-age group events. The club are hoping to participate at three internationals including Sweden, which will provide another opportunity to participate against the awesome Russian trampolinists.

Their new year of competition began on the Isle of Wight with the same quality of performance and amazing results.

Dragonflyers trampolinists took 18 medals – nine gold, seven silver and two bronze, dominating both national development and graded competitions.

Johnston, Budge and Smith all gained national NDP qualification scores and ranked in the top two of their age groups, positioning them at the top for regional team selection.

Hauxwell, Cleall and Kalnicenko also ranked in the top two for selection should they gain qualification scores in Milton Keynes while Chapman lies just outside in third position with qualification scores and hopes to improve on this in February’s competition.

Also gaining qualification scores were Emily Rimmer, Lana Collyer, Isobel Holloway and Lucy Hijman, all hoping to raise their ranking to make the team.
