WICK turned in their second outstanding performance of the holiday period to overcome fourth-placed Selsey at the High Street on Saturday, on a pitch which had taken the overnight snow well.

Having to rejig through injury, Wick manger Carl Stabler started with Adie Miles as a lone striker and then swamped the midfield with five players, allowing any one of them to support where necessary. The trio of Miles, Gareth Green and Gary Young forged a triangle that paid dividends all afternoon.
