Wick switch off and lose a point

ONE lapse in concentration cost Wick Football Club dear at new league-leaders Crowborough on Saturday.

With few chances at either end on a poor pitch, covered in sand, Wick fell behind after 58 minutes. Justin Harris was allowed a free header from a corner and despite Ben Torode and keeper Steve Phillip's best attempts, his header looped over the line.

Crowborough added a second 12 minutes from time when Dave Adams struck, before Wick substitute Alaska Kamara was sent-off for violent conduct with a minute to go. It was Kamara's second red card of the season. He was dismissed at Ringmer, when he played while unregistered.
