Would-be cricketers can learn from the professionals

AFTER three very successful winter academies in Chichester, LCA Cricket Coaching are holding four more post-Christmas courses.

Hampshire CCC bowler David Balcombe, one of the head coaches, said: “It’s been so much fun working with the boys and girls in the area.

“The improvement we have seen in each and every player has been fantastic.”

The courses will start on January 19 and 21 and run for ten weeks. Throughout the course, all aspects of the game will be covered, including technical, tactical and fitness dimensions.

One Chichester Cricket Academy is at Bishop Luffa School on Wednesdays from January 19 to March 30.

It’s under-12s from 6.30 to 8pm and under-16s from 8pm to 9.30pm.

The cost is £80 and there will be no session on February 23 because of half-term.
