The Spread A Smile music video is an all-star music video capturing 60 international artists collaborating to bring some cheer in these challenging times of lockdown and loneliness.

The band was asked to take part.

Band spokesman Ian Clarkson said: “This was not a difficult task. It fits our path. We made Simon Cowell smile and if you can do this you can do anything!

“We are proud to have been part of this wonderful music video collaboration for Spread A Smile with some great performers. It is important for us all to be united at this time and to look out for one another. We may be in different boats but we are all in the same sea and together we can ride it out into the sunshine. Spread that smile!”

“The song is a collage of all artists recording from their home with a simple yet heartfelt message to ‘only spread a smile and nothing else’ and giving moral support and encouragement to help do the right things that will contribute to staying well and safe.”

The music video features Grammy Award-winning Chick Corea, Stanley Clarke, Mark Isham and David Campbell among an array of 60 international artists, including the The Jive Aces, but also Smash Mouth’s Greg Camp, radio and television personality Kerri Kasem, Australian icon Kate Ceberano, Chilean singer-songwriter Alberto Plaza, Argentine star Diego Verdaguer, Israeli guitarist extraordinaire David Broza, Cuban-born bass virtuoso Carlitos Del Puerto, Idols South Africa star Tebogo Louw and Colombian actor-comedian Andrés López. The video can be viewed Scientology.org/StayWell

Ian added: “Written and produced by Scientology Media Productions, Spread A Smile is about the power of togetherness, even in a time when we’re all apart.

“The video also raises awareness about basic prevention and wellness resources available at the How to Stay Well Prevention Resource Centre. The centre provides materials, including short videos and booklets on how to properly sanitise a home, what to do in case of outbreak, and more —all downloadable for free online at Scientology.org/StayWell.”

Ian added: “The Jive Aces have also been continuing to spread cheer from their own home with their daily Jive Steam, The Show Must Go On! The band give a one-hour live performance every night at 8.30pm on their Facebook and YouTube page. Thousands of fans and other people who lovers of good upbeat music tune in every night.”

The band will resume their UK tour as soon as venues open again. For more information on their tour, visit https://www.jiveaces.com/tour.
