Grayshott Folk Club welcomes Red Moon Road to Grayshott Village Hall, Headley Road, Grayshott on Saturday, April 11 at 7.30pm.
Des O’Byrne said: “Following on the heels of our first Canadian guests Fish & Bird in January, we have another Canadian band to entertain you.
“This time it is threesome Red Moon Road, who originate from Winnipeg, Manitoba.
“They are Canada’s most energetic and endearing folk trio and are made up of Sheena Rattai on lead vocals and the two Daniels; Jordan and Peloquin-Hopfner, who between them play mandolin, banjo, guitar, delay pedals and a beat-up bass drum. Their music is uplifting, energetic and a lush and lively take on modern roots. They also go in for masterful story-telling and haunting three-part harmonies. This is music made equally for fireplaces, festival stages and the luminous blue of a Canadian night.” Tickets on 01428 607096.
