AFTER the success of the first ever Floral Fringe Fair this year at Bignor Park, it is moving to a bigger home at Knepp Castle, West Grinstead.
Organisers Jean and Steve Jackman said: “Viscount Mersey from Bignor very kindly introduced us to Sir Charles Burrell at Knepp Castle where, in Sir Charles’ words, ‘it is a marriage made in Heaven’.
“He is passionate about his experimental ‘re-wilding’ project on the effects on biodiversity when animals such as longhorn cattle, sheep, Tamworth pigs, ponies and deer are allowed to roam completely freely, and this is very much in tune with our wish to encourage people to make their gardens wildlife friendly.”
The fair, on June 1 and 2 next year is looking for more art stalls. Anyone with interesting art work to exhibit should contact Jean on 07939 272443 or email email@example.com More details can be found on Facebook – search for Floral Fringe Fair.
