EXHIBITION: Nativity display

TRADITIONAL Christmas scenes will great visitors to a Nativity exhibition on Saturday (November 28)

Organised by the Secular Franciscan Order (SFO) of Littlehampton, and being held at St Joseph's Convent chapel, in East Street between 10am and 4pm, there will be a number of displays, with varying materials and interpretations,

Stephanie Shephard, of the SFO, said: "The idea for the exhibition came from one of our members who had plenty of time to ponder on life while undergoing treatment for cancer. It kept her motivated during her long months of chemotherapy and radiotherapy.

"The SFO hope to encourage families and individuals to visit this free event, and reflect on the season of Advent, which starts on Saturday."

The event will be opened by sister Anastasia, of the Franciscan Missionary Sisters of Littlehampton.

Entrance is free, but donations to the work of homeless charity HOMElink would be gratefully received.
