SINGERS from the Midhurst and Petworth area are being sought for the established Froxfield Choir to give voice to the coming season.
Director of music Richard Smith said: “We have been going from strength to strength. This season we’re offering a few more places for singers.
“We are giving two major performances in the Petersfield Festival Hall and so we want a slightly larger choir. The first is a Christmas Messiah with The Docklands Sinfonia, and then we will be opening the Petersfield Musical Festival with David Fanshawe’s African Sanctus.
“The Froxfield Choir sings hard and plays hard, and we would be very pleased to hear from any enthusiastic and energetic singers who would like to join us!”
Rehearsals are on Thursdays at 7.45pm at Froxfield Village Hall and for details contact the chairman, Mike Orchard, on 01730 231226 or see www.froxfieldchoir.co.uk
