ROCK: The Illegal Eagles in Worthing

THE album which inspired the latest tour by The Illegal Eagles gained double platinum status in the UK and seven-time platinum status in the US, filling their new show with even more chart-topping Eagles hits than before.

The Long Road Out of Eden by The Eagles was released in 2007, and both the album and tracks from it have continually featured in charts around the globe since its release.

Now The Illegal Eagles are using the original band's most recent album to fuel their European tour with new songs, unusual backdrops and new arrangements.

And on Thursday, December 3, they will be stopping off at Worthing's Assembly Hall, at 8pm.

The Illegal Eagles have added two more singer-guitarists to the group, Michael Lawrence and Christian Phillips, who both sing lead and backing vocals, play guitars, keyboards, pedal steel, banjo and mandolin.

Michael and Christian's lead vocals will complement those of Danny Vaughn who earned his rock-credentials as the frontman for Waysted and as the opening act for Iron Maiden around the world.

They are joined by founder-member and drummer Phil Aldridge, bassist Chris Childs and lead and slide guitarist Keith Atack.
