The A27 is now clear following a collision involving a car and motorcycle in Chichester earlier this morning.

Officers were called at 9.56am today to reports of a collision on the A27 at the Stockbridge roundabout, police say.

The road was cleared by 10.30am, police say.

The driver of a motorcycle was taken to St Richard’s Hospital at 11am today, police confirmed.

A spokesperson for Sussex Police said they intended to close the fast lane of the A27 while they dealt with the incident.

The ambulance service was called.
